CREATING, CREATING oh and a little more CREATING...

You know that feeling..."no mojo' ? Well before Christmas I felt flat, I felt like my mojo had left me forever.
Then Christmas came, I had a good rest (sort of) LOL !!! And BAM !!!!!!! It's back.
Project Life has changed me, seriously, I'm crafting for me not just the shop, I'm finding it so quick, simple yet, still creative, I'm doing it my way not the PL way, but that's OK, I don't think the PL police are going to get me :) :)
I'm so lucky to be on the Jones Crafts Design Team as I get to play with so many lovely things, one of them being KaiserCrafts Captured Moments, their version of PL..... it's gorgeous !!!! I'm just working on some samples for the Jones Crafts stand at the trade show in Feb....here's a few sneaks....

I've used Snap Shots and Favourite Things on these ones and now here's a few PL ones along with a JilliBean one

This one above, is work in progress

This is my first one I did, not much embellishing compared to the others that I'm now doing....
I've even taken it off the page .... And been making my own titles, which I'm now selling in the shop :) :)

Anyhoo's its not just me who's addicted, as 24 places on my Introduction to PL went in under a week :) :) ... Think I may have to do more :) :) and guess what ?????? Nina's got addicted .... Again !!!!
For lots more samples just pop in the shop

JilliBean Soup….Oh boy, I can never get enough of this fabulous company…Talking of LOVE… who's seen/got their Heart Healthy Red Bean Soup (Available from all Good Jones Craft Stockists) See what I did there…… Yes it's another Design Team Project.
This time I shared my love of this Company with my new found love of Project Life and I have to say it works P.E.R.F.E.C.T.L.Y
I played with the Papers (they're kraft you know), the Pea Pod Parts, the Clear Stamps, the shape stickers and the label stickers, they only non-Jilli I added was some gorgeous Jones Craft Buttons and some yummy twine (models own).
The 'LOVE' stamp is perfect, not just for this, but for those all important valentines cards. How many will you get ???
I couldn't get enough of the stickers, they just transform the backing in an instant.
and the elements from the Pea Pod Parts were FAB !! Look at the heart bunting…Love it !!!
I just used the 12" x 12" card stock sheets and cut them to fit my pockets, there's so much left over to make a mini album and cards with…Better get my finger out !!
Not the best photography skills, sorry, but I got a bit of glare off the page protectors, but you get the drift.
Oooh and lets not forget the Alphas…whats Project Life without Alphas.
So that's my project for the Jones Craft Design Team…You can check out their page HERE

One of the BEST things about being on the Jones Craft Design Team is that you get to play sorry, I mean work with some rather yummy stash.
Kaisercraft is no exception, always have and always will love what KaiserCraft produce and I particularly LOVE the Art of Life Collection, it's just timeless, you just know you'll make something with this and look back on it and STILL love it :) :)
Another thing KaiserCraft have become renowned for in this industry is their Beyond the Page products, they are so well made and thought out, I love using them. So this month I worked on the Mini Cupboard with the Art of Life papers….of course !!

I also used the KaiserColour Paint in Antique White
I always paint the edges first and then go on to paint the rest, then I covered it in some of the papers from the range.
To make the "Knobs" I mixed up some WOW Embossing Powder and WOW Melt-It, heated it in a foil case and poured into a silicone mould, once set (approx. 1 minute) I glued a pearl to the back of them and then glued them to the front doors.
I cut out three swirl flowers and rolled them up, made some leaves from the card stock and added some twine to give it texture, then popped a pearl in the centre of the large one.
I suppose I could have gone crazy and covered the whole thing, but I love the simplicity of this piece and above all the practicality of it.
Now…what to store in there, oh so many choices !!
